MiniPIX SPRINTER Timepix2 Photon-Counting X-ray Detector
A compact photon-counting camera that combines high-speed imaging performance of up to 99 frames per second with the upgraded next-generation Timepix2 technology. The camera offers versatility and is suitable for a wide range of detection applications, from materials analysis to the aerospace industry or electron microscopy.
Model: MiniPIX SPRINTER
Brand: Advacam

Introduction
The MiniPIX SPRINTER offers the highest frame rate in its class—up to 99 frames per second—while maintaining exceptional stability. With a signal-to-noise ratio exceeding 2,000, it delivers exceptionally clear X-ray imaging, with noise as low as 0.05% for outstanding image clarity. Another advantage lies in its compact size: only 80 x 21 x 14 mm, weighing just 37 grams.
This detector features a 256 x 256 pixel array with a pixel pitch of 55 micrometers. In spectroscopic mode, it supports direct energy measurement at each pixel. The MiniPIX SPRINTER provides optimal energy resolution for X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis.
Key features of the MiniPIX SPRINTER photon-counting camera:
Energy threshold processing for multi-channel X-ray imaging
Full-spectrum radiation detection and particle tracking
Each pixel is equipped with four multifunctional digital counters
Multiple operating modes, including particle counting, per-pixel energy measurement, and time measurement
Thanks to its compactness, high performance, and versatility, the MiniPIX SPRINTER has a wide range of applications. The MiniPIX SPRINTER device is controlled via a USB interface and is compatible with major operating systems: MS Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. The PIXet Pro software, which is comprehensive and easy to use, is provided with the device for detector operation.
