HOPG Analyzing Crystal
Pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) is a new type of high-purity carbon material, produced by treating pyrolytic graphite under high temperature and high pressure. Its properties are close to those of single-crystal graphite, and it is commonly used as a monochromator and focusing optical component for X-rays and neutrons.

Introduction
Highly Oriented Pyrolytic Graphite (HOPG) HOPG is a new type of high-purity carbon material, produced by treating pyrolytic graphite under high temperature and high pressure. Its properties are close to those of single-crystal graphite, and it is often used as a monochromator and focusing optical component for X-rays and neutrons.
